Song of the day: Ami Je Tomar from Bhool Bhulaiyaa because I love the bengali in the beginning and Vidya does a great haunted performance.

Check out the other forms of the song all equally creepy (my personal favorite — the tamil version)

For those of you who don’t know much about Shammi Kapoor, I’ll fill you in. Shammi Kapoor was the quintessential Bollywood actor. The perfect combination of talent, good looks and charm. Son of Indian legend, Prithviraj Kapoor, Shammi was the second of his three sons, with Raj being the oldest and Shashi the youngest. Shammi made his mark by immediately standing out. Known for his quirky dancing and famously coining the term ‘yahoo’ in songs, Mr. Kapoor led the way for flamboyance in his acting and by winning audiences with his lover boy roles. Over the past few years, his health deteriorated and he passed away at 5:15 am on August 14th. He was 79. RIP to a legend in Indian cinema. One in a million.
